Logosol Inc. makes a high-speed, cost effective RS-485 motion network. Up to 32 intelligent drives and I/O nodes can be controlled over a multi-drop full duplex RS-485 network in a distributed motion control environment. Mix and match any combination of step motors, brush, brushless, and even linear motors, add I/O nodes if you need more inputs and outputs - build the system that is right for you. Standard RJ-45 connectors and commercially available cables are used for daisy chaining of the modules.

If you are looking for a stand-alone system then Galil Motion Control has over twenty controllers with various options, including ethernet or RS232 connection, I/O, 1-8 axes of motion control, and boxed or card level products.
